#sharesomelove this Valentine's Day with Sick Kids Foundation

Writer: tduchnaytduchnay

The Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto really does amazing things for children. One program we participated in at Chudleigh's is a 'Virtual Field Trip' program where Mr Chudleigh virtually took a group of children who were at the hospital around the farm, showing them all of the orchard and some of animals too. They could ask him any question they'd like, and one that particularly struck a chord with me was 'what does it sound and smell like at the orchard'. Mr Chudleigh's response was so vivid about all the unique smells and sounds right there and then to really bring to life the experience. This program is something they do regularly for children at Sick Kids, and I would encourage any organizations that can, to participate in this.

Overall, The Sick Kids Foundation really does an amazing job at advertising to engage people to donate.

The The Sick Kids Foundation has Get Better Gifts like these.

  1. For only $45, you can have a 3-D Printed Heart Model made for surgeons to see and operate on before they open a child's chest.

  2. Or buy your cards with them instead... #costcocanada or #shoppersdrugmartofficial co-promo opportunity?

Also, until March 1 they partnered with neighbour @sinaihealthtoronto where 50% of donations to Sick Kids will go to Mount Sinai paediatric centre (where Matviyko was born).

I saw first hand how amazing this hospital was with Matviyko, luckily for something that wasn't as serious as what other children are being treated there for. And Mount Sinai hospital has an equally amazing paediatric wing where Matviyko was born.
